Research

At the Chair of Track and Railway Operations the complete system of rail traffic and transportation with the focus on track infrastructure, operation and strategic planning is the subject of research. Within the TU Berlin Faculty V (Mechanical Engineering and Transport Systems) the Chair of Track and Railway Operations is one of the research groups with the largest public or private funded project volumes. The following overview describes the departments main objectives in research and development as well as our further experiences and services.
